In February 2022, XPRIZE publicly launched the Racial Equity Alliance (REA), a coalition aimed at creating more equitable solutions to dismantle institutional and systemic structures of racial inequities in the United States. The public launch came after more than a year of behind-the-scenes effort guided by the REA Brain Trust, a diverse collective of forward-thinking individuals, academics, industry and government leaders with expertise in racial equity.
