Thomas was most recently the Chief of Research at GoodRx, the nation's leading resource for affordable healthcare, where he created GoodRx Research and GoodRx Health. Previously he co-founded Iodine, the Webby-award winning "Yelp for medicine" that helped people find what medications work best for them. He served as the first Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
Previously, Thomas was executive editor at WIRED, which he led to a dozen National Magazine Awards from 2001 through 2012. He is the author of two books, and his writing has been repeatedly selected for the Best American Science Writing and Best Technology Writing anthologies. He holds an MA from UVA and a MPH from UC Berkeley.
