Prior to her current role, Susan was XPRIZE’s Global Head of Brand Partnerships, where she identified, developed, and leveraged partnerships to increase brand awareness and stakeholder engagement, as well as generated revenue. Susan started at XPRIZE in 2015 as Director of Marketing & Communications where she led the marketing strategy on the $30M Google Lunar XPRIZE and the $10M Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE and spearheaded the launch of the $20M NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE.
Before XPRIZE, Susan was the Director of Marketing & Corporate Development at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, and the founder of Silicon Beach Marketingand Farmacy Agency. While living in New York City, Susan led PEOPLE magazine’s Entertainment Marketing department, as well as the magazine’s high-profile charity endeavors.
Susan received a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Franklin & Marshall College, and then studied Geology at the Colorado School of Mines. She is also a certified Whole Health Educator and Coach.
