Marcus Howard is the Director -Water Sanitation and Hygiene in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and has worked on the Australian aid program for 14 years. Marcus has qualifications in Civil Engineering and Technology Management and before joining the aid program had 24 years industry experience in a state-owned water utility and consulting engineering practice. His development specialist roles have included infrastructure programs in the water, energy, transport and building sectors. He has worked in the Asia, Pacific, Africa and Middle East regions including in post-conflict and emergency situations.
