Jyothsna Buddharaju is the Senior Director of Special Initiatives for Boston University. She leads donor awareness and engagement for the University’s strategic priorities such as data sciences, infectious disease and sustainability among others. Prior to her tenure at Boston University, Jyothsna spent many years working for non-profits in the arts, STEM education and human services. Most recently, Jyothsna led corporate, foundation relations for the health sciences at UCLA.

Jyothsna holds an MBA and BA in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She also graduated with Masters in Public Policy and Asian Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
