Elaine manages XPRIZE’s engagement with various ecosystems of companies, foundations and other organizations who support the mission of XPRIZE and its competitors both during and after competition. She also leads XPRIZE’s impact work, measuring and quantifying the impact the foundation has on the world and the challenges it addresses through its competition framework and via the teams that compete. Lastly, Elaine manages the XPRIZE Alumni program which consists of a selection of former prize competitors. In this capacity, she develops the strategy to engage alumni, supporting them in their mission and monitoring their progress in the domain.
Elaine came to XPRIZE with over 15 years of leading teams responsible for applying innovative statistical techniques to draw conclusions and make insight-to-action recommendations to support business objectives, scale service delivery to achieve systemic impact, and increase stakeholder satisfaction.
Elaine is the former Executive Vice President of Operation HOPE’s Research and Impact Institute. During her decade-long tenure at Operation HOPE, Elaine focused her efforts on evaluating cutting-edge solutions to financial inequities and systemic economic challenges. Partnering with some of the world’s largest employers, she worked to equip organizations across industries to function as a force for good and to build a future where all people can thrive financially.
In 2022, Elaine was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Colorado for her work in advancing real social impact. With an endless energy to make the world a better place, she considers herself a thoughtful disrupter in the pursuit of positive social change. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and English from St. Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont, and a Master’s degree from the University of Colorado in Econometrics and Political Science. Elaine is a current resident of Windsor, Colorado, with her husband and three children. During her free time, Elaine loves to travel, read, and play sports with her children.
