Tracey Osborne is the Founder and CEO of the Climate Justice (CJ) Standard, a certification for high-quality, community-led climate and biodiversity projects. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of California – Merced, Visiting Researcher at Google, and an advisor on Benefit Sharing to the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM). Tracey has over two decades of experience working on climate change mitigation in tropical forests, with particular attention to carbon markets, offsets and climate justice. She has conducted research across the Americas and co-developed the first pilot project for the CJ Standard in the Amazon. She received her PhD from the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California, Berkeley.
