Over the past 25 years, David Cumming has engaged in a diverse portfolio of business interests.  Since 1994, he has been an owner of Powdr Corp., an adventure lifestyle company that operates ski properties, adventure camps, and lodging in the United States and Canada.  He is a principal of his Family Office, Cumming Capital Management, and has various other business ventures.

David has been the Chairman of the Cumming Foundation since 2019. The Cumming Foundation has been active since the 1990s and has focused primarily on Education, the Environment, Medicine, and Family Issues.

He is from Salt Lake City, Utah and currently lives with his wife and three children in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
