Rosenbloom won the Best Documentary Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival for Fuel, the story of the world’s dependence—and addiction—to oil; the Genesis Award for Best Film for Shiloh; a Tony nomination for Best Play for Radio Gold (2007); an Emmy nomination for Intent to Destroy (2018); and an Ovation Award for Best Music and Lyrics for the musical production Bronco Billy (2020), which he co-wrote with John Torres. Bronco Billy is set to open in London in 2023. He and John are currently working on a new musical. In addition to musical theater, The Budapest Orchestra recently recorded instrumental compositions by Rosenbloom for a new multimedia orchestral project called Artstra.
Rosenbloom is working on the upcoming Extreme History, an animation studio that produces irreverent and educational creative non-fiction history stories.
Rosenbloom is a graduate of USC Film School. He began his career at Aaron Spelling Productions and later worked in development for Mace Neufeld Productions.
Rosenbloom serves on the boards or councils of the Fulfillment Fund, Variety - the Children's Charity, the Hammer Museum, and EarthJustice. Rosenbloom is a supporter of Donors Choose, FAMM, and Feeding America.
Rosenbloom lives in Los Angeles with his wife Kathleen.
