After nearly two decades of development experience working with nonprofits, Anna Lucier now proudly serves as the Senior Director of Community at the XPRIZE Foundation.

Ms. Lucier previously served as the Sr. Director of Development at Easterseals, Southern California, where she oversaw the departments for national corporate sponsors, foundation grants, and community engagement. She also worked to strengthen individual donor giving in preparation for a major strategic initiatives campaign.

As Chadwick School’s Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving for nine years, Ms. Lucier's proudest work involved the establishment of a financial aid endowment that ensured that the best and brightest students could enroll at Chadwick School. Finally, Ms. Lucier was also a tireless board member and volunteer at American Martyrs School and Church where she remains a parishioner.

Preceding her work in philanthropy, Ms. Lucier practiced family, personal injury and business law in Marina del Rey, CA, where she assisted many individuals and businesses. She now brings her former training and expertise to XPRIZE and is devoted to making a positive global impact.

Ms. Lucier earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School. Ms. Lucier was born and raised in Canada and she resides in Torrance, CA, with her husband. She has two sons, speaks four languages and enjoys cooking, hiking, and traveling the globe. Ms. Lucier is a certified scuba diver and immensely enjoyed skydiving with her family in 2017!
