Allison Bushman completed her B.S. degree in mechanical engineering at Yale University and received her M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Through her work, Allison seeks to understand function and expression through natural and artificial motion. Her research focuses on the evaluation of movement profiles generated by different mental models of motion. Her work explores how each mental model affects the performance of a teleoperated robot, as well as how teleoperators and observers assign descriptive labels to artificial motion.
Currently, Allison serves as a Senior Project Engineer within the biotechnology industry. She works diligently to integrate scientific knowledge, explore evolving technologies, and positively impact the lives of others.
